Three leading experts discuss art appraisal, the role of connoisseurship, historical return patterns, investment vehicles and methods; the role of experts, collectors, museums and auction houses; as well as the pitfalls of investing in this asset class. Panelists include Philip Hoffman, CEO of The Fine Art Fund Group, Renee Vara, Director of Vara Fine Arts, Mary Hoeveler of M.G. Hoeveler Limited, and Frank K. Lord IV, a member of Herrick's Art Law practice group. Mukti Khaire, Associate Professor of Business Administration and Marvin Bower Fellow at Harvard Business School, will be moderating the panel discussion.
